Congratulations to Brian Panton, the 2024–2025 recipient of the Tim W. Neubert Scholarship for Civil Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Dedication. This year, we’re proud to celebrate one such story—one that reflects the very best of what it means to invest in the future of engineering, leadership, and service.
Established to recognize academically successful upperclassmen who demonstrate a clear passion for civil engineering, the Neubert Scholarship continues to make a lasting impact. Since its inception, eight talented students have benefited from this award. Through thoughtful investment and continued generosity from donors, the endowment continues to grow – along with the potential of those it supports.
This year’s scholarship awarded $3,878 to Brian, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran studying civil engineering. A hard-
working Daytona Beach native, Brian holds an Associate in Science degree in architectural engineering technology. In addition to pursuing his bachelor’s degree at Embry-Riddle, Brian has been a civil engineering intern with Newkirk Engineering since June 2024. His goal is to become an innovator and leader in the air transportation industry by combining the unique perspective gained as a Marine with years of airfield operations experience and cutting-edge engineering principles. Your support has been a generous investment in his future and the field of engineering.
