At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, innovation meets ambition—and thanks to the Tim W. Neubert – Neubert Aero Corp. Endowed Scholarship for Civil Engineering, the next generation of airport planning and design professionals is getting the support they need to soar.
Established to empower upperclassmen in the Civil Engineering program, this growing endowment has already made a powerful impact. Since its inception, six students have received crucial financial support, allowing them to continue pursuing their passion for airport infrastructure with fewer financial burdens.
Supporting a Passion for Airport Planning and Design
More than just a scholarship, the Neubert Aero Corp. Endowment recognizes students who go above and beyond. Recipients demonstrate their dedication to the field of airport planning and design through participation in industry-related extracurricular activities and student clubs, showcasing their commitment to shaping the airports of tomorrow.
Each scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need- ensuring that support goes to driven students who truly need it.
Nearly $4,000 in Support for 2022–2024 Recipients
In the 2022–2023 and 2023–2024 academic years, recipients were awarded nearly $4,000 each—a meaningful contribution that allows students to focus more on their studies and less on their finances.
Meet Michael Morales (’25): The Sixth Recipient
The most recent recipient, Michael Morales (’25), is a Civil Engineering junior with big dreams: he plans to pursue both a Master of Science and an MBA to further advance his career in airport design and infrastructure.
